PLOT SUMMARY

If only Helen’s life were a little simpler. Recently widowed, she wants nothing more than to run her café and adjust to a quiet life on her own. But with one sister hell bent on finding her a new man, another bombarding her with yoga and astrology, a trio of waitresses whose main concern is a gorgeous customer, and a man half her age about to declare his undying love, Helen’s coffee cup is in danger of overflowing.

Then, in walks Philip. Witty, intelligent and attractive, his is just the type of man that Helen could fall for, but she can’t possibly ever fall in love again, can she?

Against a backdrop of sisters, friends, colleagues, other people’s relationship issues and her own ever-changing emotions, something even more dreadful befalls Helen – she discovers she is GOING GREY.

GOING GREY premiered at Upstage Theatre, York on May 2nd 2012.
